The University of Gloucestershire will assess on the grounds of academic merit and are open to any nationality of student who is an overseas fee payer. The awards are open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught full time students.

Scholarship applications will only be accepted if:
- you have already submitted an application to a programme of study at the university, or
- the scholarship application accompanies a completed application form for a programme of study at the university.
The closing date for applications is Friday 18 June 2010.
Note: For successful postgraduate applicants this award supersedes the Postgraduate Academic Bursary.
Postgraduate Academic Bursaries
Academic bursaries worth £1,500 are available for international postgraduate students. Any overseas fee payer who registers for a taught masters degree starting in September 2010, and who has achieved at least a second class upper ( or equivalent ) in their bachelor degree, will automatically receive a reduction of £1,500 towards their tuition fees.
There is no need to apply for these awards, they will be granted automatically on receipt of your academic transcript which confirms you have achieved the required grades.
Note: Successful applicants for other University Awards of greater value do not qualify for this award.
